You may choose to begin your care with a certified nurse midwife before you become pregnant, at the beginning of your pregnancy, or up to 32 weeks. Women with low risk pregnancies, seeking minimal intervention during pregnancy and delivery, will be thrilled with the level of personal and professional support offered by our midwives. They are endorsed and backed by a team of physicians, so there is always consultation and treatment available in the event of unexpected complications. They will personalize the process and help guide you through all the phases of pregnancy, working to ensure your good health and the health of your baby.
When you go into labor, your midwife will meet you at the hospital and spend time with you as labor progresses. She will work with you and your family, encouraging and coaching you along the way. She will be there to steady and guide you as birth approaches and will work with the hospital staff to help you achieve a healthy delivery. Our midwives also care for you in the postpartum period, including any care needed after delivery and your postpartum visit.
