By staying home, Minnesotans successfully pushed out the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and bought our state time to get ready to treat those who fall ill. Beginning May 18th, Governor Tim Walz has lifted the shelter in place order and Minnesota will slowly shift from “Stay at home Minnesota” to “Stay Safe Minnesota”. As the state takes careful steps forward, it is more important than ever that we all do our part to slow the spread of the virus. The Governor continues to encourage Minnesotans to:

  • Wash your hands often
  • Get tested when sick
  • Maintain social distance
  • Wear a mask
  • Stay home when able

While the state transitions to “Stay Safe Minnesota“, Southdale ObGyn will continue to safely expand our services, both in office and via telehealth, while supporting safety measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. At Southdale ObGyn, we have implemented several practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 including modifications to our check-in process, increased cleaning measures and universal masking of staff and patients.

Please read our “Appointment Updates: Telehelath, Office Visit or Postpone” blog post to learn about what types of visits we’ll continue to see in clinic and via telehealth and which appointments you should postpone.
