Dr. Crandall is an amazing doctor. She cares deeply for her patients, provides detailed and thorough information, and doesn’t rush conversations. I never worry about or procrastinate OBGYN appointments because of her! Although I am sad to see her go, I am excited for her to enjoy her retirement!

It was a good experience

I was in pain and fear all weekend late fri to my call Monday morning. My location is Edina . Nothing available… but then she said Burnsville had an end of day 4:00 . I was so grateful. Arrive 3:45!.. very easy for records ect. As always Dr Curran greeted me and asked for info. I explained and then he proceeded to do detail everything he was doing to assess . His facts all made sense. He felt a biopsy would be the best option and urine test so I will know more soon. I am sooooo fortunate to get in promptly.. to it be forced into over phone appts .. and to know I can always trust his judgement. I do not seen often but he know me and I can not imagine how I will handle if he is not available for any reason . In all my years of having other doctors … has been exceptional . I am confident what ever is next he will have a solution.

Dr. Jaqua is the best of the best. He is incredibly kind, caring and supportive. He takes as much time as needed to address all your questions, concerns and fears fully. I have greatly enjoyed having him guide my OB care over the last several months. Dr. Jaqua has a very calming presence. He always finds a way to put you at ease. I appreciate his style of communication which is direct, collaborative, caring, inclusive and honest. He genuinely cares so much about his patients’ well being and health. Dr. Jaqua is exceptional.

Nichole Dishong is Amazing ! She takes the time to listen to all of your concerns. I look Forward to seeing Nicki every year for my annual check up. I can honestly say I don't know that I would do this every year if I didn't have Nicki's support and knowledge. I have been going to her office for so many years. I highly recommend Nichole. Dr. Jaqua is an incredible, empathetic, kind, and intelligent doctor. He delivered our daughter via emergency c-section and we couldn't have imagined having any other Dr. bring our child into this world. We trust him and his expertise and guidance - and are beyond grateful for him!

Dr. Jaqua is one of the nicest and caring physicians I have met. I was nervous to see a male ob-gyn at first but I'm so glad I see Dr. Jaqua. Dr. Jaqua always takes the time to listen to me and I never feel rushed. He has helped me through a chronic pelvic pain problem and is always willing to try new treatments or refer me to specialists.

Dr. Harris takes time to ensure all your questions are answered and to explain everything very well. And she’s got a wonderful energy that makes the conversation easier.

Dr Curran literally saved my life in 1996 when he heard something strange in my heart beat and referred me to a cardiologist! I have been able to manage my heart disease all these years thanks to his great medical care by finding it in a routine physical! He was there for me throughout two high risk pregnancies and has called me when he sees my heart test results! He goes over and above as a physician and new physician could learn a lot from him and his approach of caring and concern!

I saw Dr. Huepful for the extent of my first pregnancy and will continue to see her for postpartum visits. She is simply AMAZING! I have always felt very comfortable with her. She takes time to make sure my questions are answered and to make sure my physical and emotional needs are being met. She has always treated me with respect and compassion and I am so happy with the care I have received from her. I will most definitely continue to see her for future pregnancies.

Dr. Koidahl is a very caring and wonderful doctor. She’s very easy to talk to, and explains things well, and is not in a hurry to leave the room. I like her very much, and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Huepfel is the best gynecologist I have ever seen. She took immediately good care of me. She ordered right tests, made right diagnosis and prescribed right medicine. Finally my problem was solved ( three gynecologists during last several month without relieve of my symptoms). I am very grateful to Dr. Huepfel for professionalism and compassion. I would highly recommend her to my friends and family. In general, clinic is nice, staff is friendly, no long waiting time.

My regular Dr. was not available due to a delivery, so Dr. Almdale stepped into take her place. I appreciate that I didn't need to reschedule and she handled the appointment well.

Dr. Almdale, is thorough, gentle, asks the appropriate questions if she needs to dig a little deeper into history, whether it’s physical or emotional history. Thankful to have her and the practice behind her that supports excellent OB/GYN care throughout a lifetime. The front desk receptionist to the nurses behind the scenes. Kindness, and thoroughness mixed in with a little humor made my annual visit comfortable.

Dr. Harris is so warm and positive and empathetic. She is very current on the research, and thoroughly discussed my concerns and questions.

It’s hard to give a glowing review for this kind of examination but I have to say that I was very impressed by my doctor, Dr. Paige Halvordon. My last doctor has retired and I was blessed with seeing Dr. Halvorson. She is so down to earth and pleasant to talk too, it was like talking to my sister. Dr Halvorson scared me she mentioned cancer, IUD, diabetes, when I only went there for PCOS I am mentioning this to my primary with Fairview she should not pressure patients with medication, birth control, mention endometriosis, cancer when she met me only once and I am 20 years old my sugar levels at home have been in the 80's normal maybe she should get a job scaring patients into unnecessary medication

I love Nikki. I came in for an appointment regarding recurring yeast infections / vaginal itch, and as soon as they told me I would be seeing Nikki, I knew I was in good hands. I seriously was getting tears in my eyes during our appointment because she took such good care of me. She is kind and compassionate and treats you like an old friend. I have seen almost everyone here at this practice and I would not hesitate to recommend this practice!

All the providers are amazing. I would pay out of network rates to see my provider if I had to. It’s a friendly, comfortable space, both in the lobby and in the exam rooms -even the lab. And, there is complementary coffee and tea, which feels that much more inviting.

Leslie is an excellent communicator and made sure my thoughts and concerns were addressed. She seems to be current with research and did a good job explaining options. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend!

I've been going to Southdale OBGYN since 2004—and everyone there has been great. Krista Bernhoft Margolis, specifically, has been my "go to" for years. She is personable, knowledgeable, incredibly easy to talk with (about all things related to women's health, motherhood, getting older, etc.), and most importantly, is great at making the uncomfortable parts go as quickly and seamlessly as possible. I feel lucky to have her on my care team!

Dr. Almdale not only is very socially intelligent but also is thorough and knowledgeable. She asked more questions than any doctor ever has. Even hard questions and she looked me in the eye. She knew about things I didn’t expect her to. The appointment was not rushed at all and I got the sense she really cared. I think I found a needle in a haystack.

Danae attended my birth and was so supportive and knowledgeable from my prenatal appointments to coaching me during labor. She included my husband and I in all decision making aspects of the birthing process and offered options and alternatives at every step. She wanted me to succeed in breastfeeding and offered advice and made sure we had resources once we left the hospital. At our postpartum visit, she took the time to address all my concerns and made a plan for follow up. I felt so well cared for by all the midwives (I even had Liz as my labor RN before she transitioned to her new role) and can honestly say I couldn’t have had better care. Over the past three years he has helped my husband and I through many ups & downs including a pregnancy loss/D&C, monthly fertility treatments, and most important; a healthy pregnancy and birth of our first. What truly sets him apart, though, is the way he shares his expertise and partners with his patients to ensure you have a voice in your care. Scheduler worked hard to get a quick appt and called me back when one opened up sooner. Ultrasound specialist was friendly and efficient. The doctor was thorough, informative, and talked me through everything she was doing.

Dr Huepfel was fantastic. I recently needed to look for a new obgyn due to my other dr leaving. I will be continuing my care with Dr Huepfel. She listened, made good decisions and suggestions to my issues, and I felt she was knowledgeable at the issues I asked about. Lizzie was PERFECT! She has amazing bedside manner, very gentle and considerate while also being quick about her work. I've been terrified all my life about pap smears and the first time it was attempted last year at my old OBGYN, it was such a painful process that it wasn't complete. While there was a slight hiccup this time in that it was deeply uncomfortable, that is entirely the swabs fault and not Lizzie. I felt comfortable being honest and open with her and she took my fears and concerns into consideration. I could not have asked for a better annual and I really hope I get Lizzie again next year!

Quick and to the point.

I waited over 40 minutes in the room for the doctor to come with just a paper sheet covering me. I was cold and nervous as I had a concern and that’s why I was there. Finally I went to the door with the paper sheet covering me and stuck my head out to find out if perhaps they forgot I was in the room. I had a nurse tell that the Dr had an emergency surgery and just got back and would see me soon. I completely understand that things happen that may delay the doctor and I respect that. It would have been nice if someone would have communicated with me and let me know what the delay was and acknowledge me versus leaving me sit there without knowing what was going on. My doctor was wonderful, thoughtful and caring.

I am a new patient of Dr. Koidahl, but it was easy to be instantly comfortable with her warm and friendly demeanor, as well as her professional and skilled care during my appointment, not only with my examination but also with each of my questions she took the time to fully answer. I feel very fortunate to have her as my doctor.

Nikki is hands down the best provider I’ve ever seen. For context, I’m a dedicated child-free woman who goes out of her way to see a Midwife (so if this doesn’t speak volumes I’m not sure what will). She takes time to speak to me and listen to my concerns. She follows up with me and gently encourages me to take the best care of myself. She is the absolute best, and I hope Southdale OBGYN realizes how lucky they are to have her.

I had a great experience with Dr. Lewis at my annual visit. This is the first time I had ever met with her, and she made me feel very comfortable and answered all of my questions!

Krista listened and took action! Highly recommend to anyone in perimenopause.

Dr. Koidahl gives her full attention to me. I feel as though I’m the only patient she’s addressing each time I have an appointment. Dr Koidahl doesn’t treat a patient’s condition; she treats the patient with a condition!

Dr. Wesser is wonderful! I met with her for the first time during a routine OB check. My regular doctor was running a little behind and Dr. Wesser was kind enough to meet with me. She is kind, easy to talk to, and very relatable. Everyone I have encountered at Southdale OBGYN has been absolutely wonderful. I also appreciate the opportunity to meet different doctors within the practice because you never know who will be on-call when you go into labor!

Denae was flexible to still meet with me when I arrived at the wrong clinic, was honest, timely, professional and personable.

Dr Almdale is such an amazing doctor, I have been seeing her throughout all of my pregnancies. She is such a kind woman, great at what she dose and really do care about her patients.
