Biography/Personal Interests

Dr. Jeanne Nugent Gengerke completed her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.  She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, where she also completed her residency in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health.

Dr. Gengerke enjoys all aspects of Ob/Gyn, and caring for women of all ages.  Within this diverse field, she most enjoys performing laparoscopic procedures and taking care of women with high risk pregnancies.  She chose to practice medicine because it is an evolving field that requires a life-long commitment to learning.

A native of Minnesota, Dr. Gengerke is married to an Emergency Medicine physician who practices at North Memorial Hospital.  Her personal interests include running, traveling, outdoor activities, spending time with her family and friends, and her Goldendoodle puppy.
