Biography/Personal Interests

Karen Sherk was born and raised in the Twin Cities. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Bethel University in St. Paul, she moved to Rochester, Minnesota. While serving as a Registered Nurse for five years at Mayo Clinic, Karen worked in a variety of patient-care settings, including: Medical-Surgical Care, Intensive Care, and the Emergency Department. In 2004, she returned to school to obtain her Master of Science at the University of Minnesota. The School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota provided her with extensive clinical experiences in the field of women’s health. Karen is passionate about providing women with holistic, high-quality healthcare. She also strives to provide her patients with excellent, individualized care.

Karen currently resides in Minneapolis. She loves the outdoors and stays active through running and biking. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and cooking.
