Biography/Personal Interests

Dr. David Curran enjoys providing all of his patients with quality, comprehensive healthcare that spans the life cycle. He enjoys caring for his patients and finds satisfaction in the opportunity “to be a part of our patients’ lives and to assist them through a myriad of medical conditions.” Dr. Curran is an outgoing, witty, and compassionate physician who appreciates the individuality of his patients.

Dr. Curran enjoys all aspects of women’s healthcare. He especially likes providing patients with routine gynecologic care and managing high risk pregnancies. Dr. Curran also has a special interest in gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive advanced pelviscopy as well as surgery for pelvic prolapse and pelvic reconstruction. He also performs surgery for other gynecologic disorders, such as fibroids, endometriosis, cysts, and heavy periods.

Dr. Curran resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota along with his wife, Dr. Dina Curran, and three children: Cory, Francesca, and Kent. Dr. Dina Curran is a practicing pediatrician at Southdale Pediatrics. In his free time, Dr. Curran enjoys golf, baseball, traveling, and spending time with his family. A former professional baseball player, Dr. Curran now coaches youth baseball and other youth sports.
