Biography/Personal Interests

Michelle grew up in northeastern Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa. Pursuing her interests in women's health, she finished her Nursing degree at Mercy School of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. While continuing to work as a labor and delivery nurse, Michelle received her certification as a Women’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner. She is certified in Maternal-Newborn Health as well and continues to enjoy the labor and delivery experience at Fairview Ridges Hospital (FVR).

Michelle provides all patients with outstanding care. Her special interests include healthcare in diverse populations and promoting the education of well-women's health, spanning the reproductive years through menopause. Michelle also specializes in the management of abnormal Pap smears and colposcopy procedures.

Outside of the office and hospital, Michelle enjoys time with family, the outdoors, diving, and travel.
