The winners of our “My Patient Page” drawing are Terri Robb of Chanhassen and Susan Anderson of Burnsville.  Terri and Susan’s names were entered into our drawing because they signed up for our patient portal during the roll out of the portal in October and November.  They have each won a $50.00 gift card to Target.  Congratulations!

 

We have had a great response to our new patient portal – “My Patient Page”.  New Patients and Prenatal Patients can now complete their Health History forms on the portal.  We have had a lot of success with our “Request an Appointment" feature and secure delivery of test results.  If you have not done so, create an account today!

 

 

 

 

Southdale OB/Gyn is offering a FREE monthly nutrition class for all patients

The class will focus on limiting weight gain through vulnerable periods of our life- including pregnancy and menopause, by learning how to read nutrition labels, making good food choices and eating proper portion sizes. 

The class will also provide extra information on pregnancy including proper weight gain based on your pre-pregnancy weight, nutrition changes during pregnancy and foods to avoid when pregnant.

March 15^th, 2012 at Burnsville                            April 19^th, 2012 at Edina

May 17^th, 2012 at Burnsville                              June 14^th, 2012 at Edina

Classes are held from 6:30-8:30 pm

The class is taught by Rachael Halvorson, owner of Twin Cities Nutrition Consultants, LLC.  Rachael is a registered and licensed dietitian with expertise in prenatal nutrition and holds a certificate in adult weight management.

Flu vaccines are in.

We are currently offering the flu vaccine to all of our OB patients. Please let us know during your visits if you are interested in receiving your influenza vaccine.
